Alexander & James is one of the few places you can buy this exceptionally rare Irish malt, which is on limited release each year. The whiskey matures in three different casks (look out for bourbon, sherry and Madeira flavours) before coming of age and great depth at 21 years.

Unique craft
Bushmills, in County Antrim, is the only ‘grain to grass’ distillery in Ireland and one of only a handful in the world.
Dry clean
Bushmills uses unpeated malted barley (dried by hot air, not peat fire) for a non-smoky flavour, and triple distils in slender pots.
Doubly mature
‘Baby Bushmills’ first matures in bourbon and sherry casks for 19 years. It then ‘marries’ for another two years in Madeira drums.
