Don’t let the name fool you. This difficult to pronounce malt is easy to drink and makes a great aperitif. Pleasant and light on the nose, this single malt from the Flora and Fauna collection opens into a sweet and balanced dram. From a distillery that produced it’s first single malt in 1978, the name references nearby Mulben Burn and literally translates to ‘where a shallow ford crosses a red stream.

Auchroisk 10 Year Old will be delivered in a luxury gift box.
A rose by any other name
In 1986, fearing that the name Auchroisk would be too difficult to pronounce outside of Scotland, the whisky was renamed The Singleton. By 2001 however the original gaelic name that we know and love returned. (btw you pronounce it Auck-Roysk)
Gold mine
The discovery of Dorie’s Well, an exceptional source of sweet, crystal clear water led to the construction of the Auchriosk distillery in 1972.
Highland holder
The Auchriosk distillery vats the other Highland malts that go into J&B whisky, before they are shipped to the blending center in Glasgow.
