We don’t do compromise, but this medium-bodied malt strikes a fine deal between smoky and sweet, light and rich, lending itself well to both aperitif and nightcap enjoyment. It has a cool, mustard-fresh style that reveals its gusty coastal roots.

Quality
Elite market
When they built the distillery in 1819, Clynelish whisky was so prized that only private customers were supplied, and trade orders strictly refused.
Tradition
No change
Still to this day, barley is malted in the Highlands, water pipes down from Clynemilton and distillation takes place in conventional pot stills.
Distinction
Nautical nuance
Experts describe Clynelish, which lies on the stormy North Sea shoreline, as the most ‘coastal-tasting’ of mainland whiskies.
